I find it helps when you have a centre forward mate. ;)

Maupay and Danjuma vs Fulham
Danjuma and Chermiti vs Wolves
Calvert-Lewin, Beto, Chermiti and Danjuma vs Arsenal
Calvert-Lewin, Beto, Chermiti and Danjuma vs Luton

I've probably been his biggest advocate on here/defended him to the hilt.

But if he's going to give it the big'un, cherry pick stats and have a snarl at a section of the fanbase, then I can't help but wade in with my interpretation of reality.

An Everton manager can't, and shouldn't be having a pop after the start to the season we've... tolerated? Yeah, let's go with tolerated.

He can stick his xG, too.

Out of all of those, only DCL started at the weekend when we had a full deck mate.

Besides that's 4 games out of the 14 you mention - which illustrates my point.

Its an unnecessary comment really id agreed! ;)

The gall of the man.
If it weren't for Benitez he'd be the most unlikable manager Everton have ever had.
Comes across so arrogant.
One of the worst starts to a season we've ever had. One of the lowest Point per game of any manager working. In the PL.
Forced into playing the players the "internet warriors" want, and wins a match, and now he's cock of the walk.

Let's see how his xg nonsense comes across when it's January and we're still sat on 7 points.

Relegation fodder is going to relegation fodder.

He needs to wins in the next two home games vs Luton and Bournemouth.

Having Beto/Calvert-Lewin, with a fit McNeil and Harrison on the flanks should help his cause enormously.

He also needs to start Garner in CM - he's the only CM midfielder I think we have capable of passing a ball.

Give Onana the role he had before Everton, and where he plays for Belgium. To do that, he needs to drop Gana.

^ After Arsenal.

I expected us to lose to Brentford, and Villa.

I expected us to beat Luton and Bournemouth.

After Arsenal then, points wise we are were I thought as a minimum we had to be + a bonus of still being in the cup.

It's not the time to puff your chest out, IMO.

Pray Calvert-Lewin, Harrison and McNeil stay fit. With them all, there's balance and goals in the team.
Pray Tarkowski and Branthwaite stay fit. Without any of them, we're in a terrible place defensively.
Keep Garner in CM.
Don't play Onana and Gana together as defensive midfielders.
Hope we stay above the relegation zone come January, when hopefully we can bring a couple in. That's a big ask now, after the start we've had and the fixture list we have to come.

I think Dyche did an incredible job all considered to keep us up last season. This season, it'll still be tough but let's get it right, Luton an Sheff Utd are bankers to go down and we just have to outdo a Burnley, Bournemouth or Wolves. Maybe even Brentford (if Toney leaves/they don't adequately replace).

Personally, I think we’ll struggle against most teams at home if they sit deep and absorb pressure.
