Interested to see what that xG table looks like after we’ve played some competent football teams and others have played the dross we’ve played.

Not happy, but it does indicate that the team are putting in something resembling better performances
Better than losing with no xG, no entertainment & no hope

Easy to forget that this was the situation under Lampard. xG doesn't get us points but tells you that things may be better than the points table suggests.

I’m assuming the presence of Gueye in our starting 11 means we begin each game with a negative xG. Wonder if Big Oil still insists he’s an underrated player on the ball.
