when did we last do

0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2; 2-3 and win?

if you don’t think there is a change in our psyche, then you are mad. Who brought that change? Give your heads a wobble if you think it is not Dyche.
 
I think we’re in a safe pair of hands with Dyche which is an improvement on the last two seasons. What we need is some stability after the last two scrapes with relegation and he’ll give us that. I like that we seem to have more fight in us under him and don’t go to pieces as soon as the slightest thing goes against us, which has been the case for years under various managers. Not convinced that he’ll take us much further than just steady middle of the road, but that’s for another time and hopefully he’ll prove me wrong. He’s doing a solid job for me.
 

They have a very good manager. Any team with Pascal Gross, Adam Llalana and Billy Gilmor in centre midfield is not one to be feared where you park the bus at home. Throw in 50 year old James Milner at left back too. Go through that Brighton team 1-11 and tell me who you would take over our players?. I'd take mitomo over Harrison and thats about it. And even then he'd be wasted because he'd be asked to play as a second full back all game.

I think there's a good opportunity for the next few home games. Certainly ones where there should be a "have a go" element.

This Man. United team have actually won 5 of their last 6 prem games but they've all been 1 goal wins and some of their actual performances have been appalling. Their results compared to their xG output is probably a polar opposite of what this club was producing in those August games. Think DCL will cause their defence endless issues if decent balls are played up to him quickly.

Chelsea are very hit and miss, that feels a bit of a 1-1.

I was going to write off the Newcastle game after what they did end of last season but they are down to the bare bones and Bournemouth could've easily scored more than twice tonight. Of course they'll probably have likes of Wilson and Isak back in a few weeks so that would be a different proposition.

I think it's important to get a home win soon as after that it's Man. City, Villa and Spurs. All three haven't lost at Goodison for a long time in the league. Don't want to have to keep needing to win away as eventually the wins will dry up on the road.
Man City at the moment I would accept. Anybody else absolutely not.
 
I don’t think we should be “fearing” anyone, and I’m certainly not trying to defend Dyche or anything. I just found your comment about not taking any of Brighton’s players a bit strange. They’re a very good side, much better than us.

If you have a team of players that cannot pick a pass, control a football, retain play and have a lack of pace ….

Every team in this league should be feared
 

Dyche generally talks sense in interviews. He is likeable. He is now delivering in terms of results. I think there’s loads of people on here (but no one I’ve spoken to in real life in Liverpool) who want him changed based solely on the fact he’s English and/or he’s not in any way young/cool. I’m more interested in Everton winning games than people thinking our manager is smashed avocado on sourdough with a vape on the side.

Lennon would be a massive upgrade on Dyche. Yes. But so too would many others. The point is now is the time to get rid. Not next December when we're stuck adrift in the relegation zone.
He does know the city I suppose. Only thing that counts against him is the fact he’s been dead for 43 years.

I assume you mean John because you sure as hell can’t mean Neil.
