1-2 how did that happen, we’ll never hang on
2-2 No chance, we’re goosed
2-3 well blooming heck, what is going on, we’re doomed

when did we last do

0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2; 2-3 and win?

if you don’t think there is a change in our psyche, then you are mad. Who brought that change? Give your heads a wobble if you think it is not Dyche.

The fact our CDM is breaking furthest forward with five minutes to go to bag the winner tells you all you need to know.
 
I think we’re in a safe pair of hands with Dyche which is an improvement on the last two seasons. What we need is some stability after the last two scrapes with relegation and he’ll give us that. I like that we seem to have more fight in us under him and don’t go to pieces as soon as the slightest thing goes against us, which has been the case for years under various managers. Not convinced that he’ll take us much further than just steady middle of the road, but that’s for another time and hopefully he’ll prove me wrong. He’s doing a solid job for me.

I don't want safe. Everton deserve better.

Dyche generally talks sense in interviews. He is likeable. He is now delivering in terms of results. I think there’s loads of people on here (but no one I’ve spoken to in real life in Liverpool) who want him changed based solely on the fact he’s English and/or he’s not in any way young/cool. I’m more interested in Everton winning games than people thinking our manager is smashed avocado on sourdough with a vape on the side.

Lets see if we can get a result against United.

ETH will be off the touchline as hes banned + now Eriksen and Hojlund just came off the game injured.

Have as good a chance as weve seen for a number of years.

Theyre in 6th, were 14th and a win would put us 4pts behind them with 13played on 17pts.

I don’t agree, even if all of those things were true.

We simply cannot hold possession in the opponents half.

Our passing is so bad that when , not if we lose it that teams break on us and our midfeilders don’t have the pace to recover .

It shouldn’t be like that and gana used to be great at break up break always but his legs aren’t what they used to be and Onanna simply can’t track back well at this point in time
 
Fair play to Dyche. He’s made the team solid and is grinding out results. The spine of the team and partnerships in the middle are as good as they’ve been for a long time. The 2 wingers are there to work hard as opposed to necessarily creating chances. Very muck like his Burnley team. Effective if unspectacular

The lack of subs and sitting back with a lead will frustrate the life of most of us especially when we seem to create when we’re on the front foot. It’s a bit like Moyes used to do.

He looks like he’s going to get us to the new ground safely which will do for now
 

Currently only second to Carlos in recent years at putting a squad together to win matches. Dyche will probably surpass that period when we looked something.

Heard him reflect on those early loses at home and injuries/suspension could be his downfall going forwards... Still think he is a brave manager certainly players respect him.

Has to be given credit late last season in allowing Dom to get fit others have thrown caution to the wind and played him too soon.

And it's just nice to have some confidence watching Everton again.
 
That Dyche's interaction with Alli would have gone something like,

Dyche- Sorry Al we don't have a place for you in our team, we play too direct for your liking.
Alli- I'm ok with direct, poch kept telling direct is basically doing progressive passes.
Dyche- Whaaaaa, that's totally me.
Alli-Progressive passing?
Dyche- No, Poch... I'm heading over to Keysie and Gray to lay the groundwork.
