What I particularly like about Dycheball is it’s subtle flexibility.

Where other managers are lauded for their rigid philosophies old Sean just quietly decides his tweaks to counter it.

Where we press & how. How much we go long. How much we sit back to counter. All feels like it’s planned specifically to the opposition & executed by players who have bought in.

Pragmatism to get the points first & then make it pretty where you can.

He’s a wotsit shaped artisan in a world of artistic zealots.

He's been labelled as the most pragmatic manager in the league on more than one occasion.

He really has turned things round and got us playing really well against tough opposition, he is doing a terrific job at this point.

I still can’t like him though. All that stuff about “authentic” celebrating and stuff. Let people do what they want, he’s so desperate to be seen as a real bloke that he’ll be moving into a cave and trying to club bears to death next.

He’s a bloody bloke

When the season started lot of fans were hoping he'd just be able to put a bit of space between us and the bottom three so we'd have a less stressful season than the last two. Looks like he's gonna do that even with the points deduction, an amazing turnaround.

Tbf that was a bit stupid

It could be said that playing Young over Patterson IS working well.

I challenge you to look at my posts on the first 11 and point out who ive been wrong about.

Not one post in isolation, consistently wrong about...

...i would venture that its close to 0/11.

Are you saying 'let people do what they want' and also criticising Dyche supporting authenticity?

Loads of you are wrong because you’re hysteria prone biffs with misplaced entitlement, and troublesome egos that make you assume that 1) you know the game better than most and 2) anyone cares what you say. That ego also leads you to resist being proven wrong.

Thankfully for all of you I’m here to counter that the biffs and their go don’t consume the forum whole and ruin it for the good, reasonable pleasant blues on here.
You're a bit of a dab hand in the arl vaulting stakes - wasn't there a previous 'Dyche Speculation' thread?
If you could put that up and we'll see who have changed their tune and are in the..."I always said he was good" camp after a few wins.

Can't like the slug or his selections at times currently, but fair play he's getting the results and we even look great at times.

Now if he stop selecting the mummified remains of a footballer that is Ashley Young it'd be grand.
It might be hard for you to accept but perhaps he just happens to know more than you about his team. It's a crazy thought I'm sure since you must have great self importance.
