Dancing on the trap door of the PL exit and he's prioritising a devalued cup competition...and it's still not out the way.

Stuff like that will haunt him. It was a terrible decision and it'll have a massive effect on our season from now until May.

Do you think it'll send us down, or are you sitting on the fence

On the money.

That cup competition should never have seen our best starting line up barring Pickford.

It was gross mismanagement and gross negligence.

That red card is down to him and so is the injury to McNeil.

Behave - wasn't that long ago you kept saying Calvert-Lewin would never play again/wasn't important anyway.

We had 3 games to play in January - 10/11 days gap after yesterday until our next game.

On the back of 4 straight defeats, we had to stop the rot. Winning and confidence is everything. Also, Calvert-Lewin hasn't scored in 12 games and needs a goal to get going. If that 3 game ban sticks, the replay is included, as would be the FA Cup 4th round so 2 of the games could be the FA Cup.

That 10 point deduction should have had a quicker appeal process because if that is removed, nobody would be entertaining the idea of devaluing a cup given we've not a trophy approaching 29 years.

I think Lampard also wanted a more technical player in the 10 role and didn’t trust doucoure as one of the two central midfielders, because he was a liability in possession and a poor defensive midfielder from a positional and tracking point of view

If true this shows how clueless that Tory supporting fraud really was. Imagine trying to sell the best goal scoring midfielder in the Premier League for some Tom Cleverly when we have little to no goal threat in the team.

One of the darkest days in our 'istory appointing that bozo.

Quick, find something to moan about, come on what can I come up with.

Poor finishing, extremely poor refereeing. No, those are all too obvious, I know, how about a manager picking a side to win a football game, yep that will do it.

Ah cop on Dave. You were happy with Evertons cup run were you not? Cup form tends to translate over to PL in our case so tbh he was on the money going for it.

Meh. He puts out a weak side and he's hung out to dry. Damned either way. Red card and injuries happen in all games. You got an anti-Dyche agenda?

The red card I'm arguing from the point of view that Calvert-Lewin is better on the bench if something goes wrong with Beto. And Beto should have been on at least 10 minutes before the red card, so that was down to him on that level too. The injury to McNeil should have been avoided if he'd rested him...given Doucoure's injury and the fact that he's one of only a few players who can score goals for us. I'd have rested Harrison on that basis too.

The cup is a headache we cant afford, not when we're desperate to keep a first team together and avoid relegation - which is the ultimate objective.

Basically Dyche has put into jeopardy are primary target of staying up by going after a distant secondary target. It's very poor management of resources for me.

So, you're saying Beto should have been on earlier as he's our main striker - but we shouldn't be risking players?

He's rested a couple and Gana was at AFCON so this is what else he had;

... You're saying he should have rested McNeil and Harrison. Who comes in for them two on the wings?

After 4 losses on the spin, we didn't have the luxury of throwing the game, we had to try an stop the rot. An away clean sheet is something to take into Aston Villa on 14th Jan.
