Stick with him and we shouldn’t go down hahahahah. We shouldn’t be going down with any manager. Our squad isn’t the best in the league, but it’s certainly not the worse either. Any half decent manager would have Everton sitting comfortably mid table. Dyche was talking about a relegation battle 3 games in. Dyche is the problem with our squad.
Didn't say stick with him knobhead I said we won't go down no matter what

We should already be looking to replace him because it's not sustainable as a club to live short term and we should be looking to the long term with our manager which Dyche has proved he isn't going to be.

I reckon he will stay until Jan at least unless things seriously dive (aka a run of continuous losses with no points picked up). If we are in the bottom 3 at Christmas he will be gone as new owners should be in and they'll want to capitalise on their first window.

We've averaged 41 points for 3 years on the spin.

Sack him tomorrow, and whoever comes in still has a team that's relegation fodder. Fans badly overestimate this team - we're crap.

Until there's new ownership, and investment to bring in players with pace/who can score goals - we're going to be in a relegation scrap.

That new ownership will bring in their own manager.

I'm just hoping our heads are above water come January, when hopefully ownership situation sorted and we can bring in a few players.

Nope. You’ve been gaslit by Dyche into believing this. We’ve had a £70m centre back that would walk into most teams in the league let alone to bottom 3, sat on the bench behind his buddy from Burnley for the past two games. This argument about our squad being relegation fodder isn’t washing with fans anymore, the poll results demonstrate this. Peoples’ eyes are open.

Nope.

That's my opinion based on years of results - years before Dyche.

That's my opinion based on the players we have, and chronic lack of pace or goals in the final third.

We're crap mate, and have been before Dyche. And will be crap after him.

Maybe slightly less crap. Maybe slighly crapper.

But still, crap.

No apologies for sharing the below again - since then - no investment.

I’ve noticed you like to use that chart from 2 years ago quite a lot, but we don’t have the same team as we had in 2022/23 do we.

Why has he got our best player benched for Michael Keane? Why’s that then haha?

Benitez and Lampard have both been poor since leaving Everton and both were the managers that have been in place, along with Dyche, during our struggles near the bottom. Perhaps it's not just as simple as an "our squad is crap" argument? I don't think we have the best squad but I do think we have a squad that's capable of putting in better performances than we put in on a regular basis under Dyche. We certainly have a squad that shouldn't be struggling against Southampton. He's entering Benitez and Lampard territory in that results are catching up with the poor performances.

I think it's disingenous to state we have no pace/no goals in our attack as the style of football and way that Dyche sets up seriously stifles the team in attacking play and getting the most out of players who can create and do better.

People don't realise how it easy it can be for any bottom half team to get dragged in to the mire. Astonishing really, as we've already been sucked in several times. You can see it now with Palace, and West Ham's fans will start to get twitchy soon if things don't pick up. They've been there before, more than once.

The lack of goals in the squad is the big issue for me. But I do feel he will grind out enough points to keep us clear of the drop zone at all times. I'm still predicting we do about the same as last season.

It's not. It had players like Richarlison, Onana, Gordon and Iwobi for a lot of them games who all start for us now.

We've had to make money in every window since that table.

My view, and one I've had before Dyche and will have if he leaves tomorrow - is this team doesn't have the pace or goals to keep it away from struggling. It's why we've been on our arse for years, and will continue to be so.

Benitez, Lampard, Dyche - replace with whoever you want, they're not getting the goals from Harrison, Doucoure, McNeil and co.

Or maybe he knows there's not loads of goals so realises the importance of being set up to not concede loads?

Onana didn’t start for us at the back end of last season so why would he start him now? Richarlison wasn’t part of our squad in 2022/23 either.

Why is Branthwaite being benched for Keane?

Fans would have you believe the team/squad is on par with Ipswich and Southampton. Delusional

I don't like a manager that enters a game with a not lose strategy because it's one which requires tactical perfection and once you concede the plan goes out of the window. In the last two games it's meant we have been chasing a game at home and losing to a side we should not be losing to. That shouldn't happen and it's because of the setup.
