2024/25 Sean Dyche

Players that were selected by the manager. If we’d swapped our managers around, Brighton’s first goal wouldn’t have happened because Minteh wouldn’t have been on the pitch. We also wouldn’t have gone down to 10 men because Ashley Young probably wouldn’t have been on the pitch. It’s quite insane to suggest that the managers have no influence on a game of football.
Yes, they have an influence on the game, but not on the opponants managers tactics.

The point on Gray was at least he had some pace so if we had that in our team we could at least have some counter threat, but he wanted off. We blocked the first transfer to Fulham an he was a pop about it/he was in sulk mode so he was always off. We should have sold him, but we should have brought in some pace.

You say Dyche could have kept Iwobi and sold Doucoure. It's this type of thinking that misjudges the reality. Iwobi wanted off, and the club said he was going. Dyche is on record as saying he wanted to keep him.

The question about wether dyche would change with other options pops up with Gray as an example and that leicester game. Leicester were leaving huge gaps at the back in the last 10 minutes to exploit. He's no Ryan Giggs but one thing gray was ok at was space in front of him with his pace. I think thats what some of the issues are with him. He's very stuck in his ways regardless of what or who's available he sticks to it. Thats also the game btw Michael Keane was a nightmare 🤣

Gray wanted off, iwobi wanted off, Onana wanted off. Why was that I wonder

We had gray,Who’s not the best player I agree, but dyche didn’t play him and was happy to see him go, is he any worse than McNeil or Harrisonit’s his choice to get Harrison for the 2nd season it’s his choice to keep picking doucoure in the 10. And gana and garner. When Onana technically is better than all of them, if he wanted to play better football keep iwobi and sell doucoure.

It’s his choice to get young and constantly play him, was his choice to play Godfrey at RB and not Patterson. What did he do differently when we went nearly 4 months with out a win

Yes we all know, we don’t have the best players and limited funds, but it utter nonsense that he’s doing the best he can with what we’ve got.

Look at palace and how glansner changed them straight away and how they became a better side, they started to attack and score goals. This mateta look a poor striker under hodgson , under glanser he couldn’t stop scoring.
Glasner seems to be the new name that people keep using all the time but its a very small sample size on how it will go for him they had an amazing end to last season but theres no guarantee they will actually end up any better off under him in the long term just like De Zerbi was a genius this time last year and then ended up being seen as a bit of a joke.

Glasner is a very very good manager mate, but palace atm are hanging him out to dry. Selling off everyone without replacing them.

What a disgusting game that was.

Started so well, took a deserved lead. They then score two poxy goals.

I watched it on Sky Go which is slightly behind, and Patrick Boyland Tweeted they scored the pen they missed to make it 3-1. That single moment was the most gutted I've ever been as an Everton fan.

We just couldn't lose that game and Leicester needed to win it.
