2024/25 Sean Dyche

…no mate but somebody has clearly told Bobble what Thelwell is thinking.
Like everything else probably been indirectly leaked. For what it’s worth I’ve always been on the fence with Thelwell (a lot of work goes unseen in his role) but not against a clean sweep if needed. Im quite neutral about the guy as transfers are a bit mixed

Of course he is.

Indicative of how much of a basketcase Everton are.

TFG were jibbing him for Rangnick before they walked away.

Dyche knows he's never getting beyond this season. Apparently he gets paid an extra year if sacked. The players know it.

Doesn't help does it?

TFG need to replace him but it's not happening until they're owners.

And I'm telling you folks - this team are taking our blood pressure to the max until April/May no matter the manager.

Because Mykolenko/Young are full backs, with a front three incapable of pace and/or scoring enough goals.

Sometimes football is a simple as that.

In a lot of ways, Dyche has been hung out to dry. I'm kind of amazed it's not worse. They all know he's done.

Apparently TFG are close. Personally I'd probably do something mad and put a temporary caretaker on charge (Baines/Coleman) for the next two home games. Get the crowd behind the team etc, and hope TFG have someone lined up.

I agree. We need a fresh start with a decent DOF and a head coach who can work together. The coach can ask for what he wants and the DOF can get it for him. Pace and goals are what we need.

The only thing Dyche has wanted in any team he’s ever been in charge of, is grocks at the back and big grock(s) up front, for the rest of the team to aim at.

That’s the Sean Dyche masterclass.

Don’t know whether it was an accurately attributed quote to Joe Hart on X today (presumably he was subsisting somewhere) but it’s a damning indictment of Dyche if what he said was true in that he was only interested in keeping clean sheets.

To get that direct from someone who had directly worked with him I thought was interesting from a players perspective.
Think the players are done with him. He’s lost the dressing room. Pickford was bellowing at him to make changes a couple of weeks ago.

Collectively our players have played for some top level managers in their careers- current players who were here when Ancelotti was at Everton. Gueye (Tuchel and Pochettino), Young (Alex Ferguson), Harrison (Bielsa). They must collectively look at Dyche’s tactics and despair. Training must be boring- based on defensive drills that aren’t working and long ball practice.

His style of play is on a par with Tony Pulis. At least Stoke had Rory Delap to launch some liking throw ins for excitement. We haven’t even got that!

All the others were rightfully sacked mid season yet some still defend him. Walking into relegation considering his defenders will argue we were going to be relegated under some of the below.

11 points from 13. - dyche
14 points from 13 - lampard
15 points from 13 - benitez
14 points from 13 - Silva
12 points from 13 - koeman
Disgusting reading that tapas tits had the most points from 13 games.

The league need to get a move on and approve TFG so we can all move forward.

Yeah think the Fab Four (for that type of 1980s football) are Allardyce, Dyche, Pulis and Warnock.
