2024/25 Sean Dyche

You call me arrogant for saying we'll be comfortably safe. The evidence for me is the 60ish league games I've seen us play under Dyche. You say we can't score goals, but we create more than enough chances to score more and I believe over time that levels out. We'll never be high scorers under Dyche like.

You're saying we leak goals, I'm guessing you are only basing that off one game in which we were missing 2 of our first choice back 4. I know we won't ship loads because since Dyche has came in we've had one of the better defensive records in the league. We'll lose a fair few games this season, but I suspect not many more by more than a single goal.
No I`m basing that off us conceding 93 goals in his 63 games!

What is more starting, Dyche has lost 12 of his 29 home games scoring 5 and conceding 29.... Dyche has never won a game at Goodison when the opposition has scored in 29 attempts.

Home form is not keeping us up and we have started the exact same way this season, relying on away form is a very risky strategy.

Hopefully the new owners bring in their own man... of all the well run teams in the PL how many are appointing Dyche as manager or coming to take him from us? That should tell you everything...

no, we didnt even lay a finger on a team that we would of finished above last season if it werent for the points deduction. A team that has welbeck, milner and dunk as its spine and a manager who is younger then all 3 and has never managed in the PL.

It looked like wed turned a corner at the end of last season but last week was right back to square one and Brighton didnt even have to get out of first gear to beat us 3-0

Welbeck, Milner and Dunk are all very seasoned premier league players who have had good careers at good clubs because they are good players. Brighton have also spent a lot this summer.

Give me those 3 over the likes of Keane, Doucoure and most strikers we've had in the last 10 years any day btw.

One loss is not back to square one mate, in 10 games time, we'll have a better idea where we stand.

None of the Dychette's will ever answer that mate.

All depends on the first goal with Dyche. Score it and we'll usually dog out a 1-0, concede first and we'll often lose badly.

Hard to disagree with him, there was mass hysteria last week over losing to a decent team.

I get there are many who understandably will never take to his style of football or his personality but you have to look at the bigger picture, at least until the club is a bit more secure financially.
I don’t think there is too much to disagree with him there either, but I think some of the Sharp focus / commentary has been justified especially around the four months without a win last season and his team selection last week. As a manager, if you have subjected your fans to those kind of experiences you’re always going to be on a hiding. He didn’t and hasn’t helped himself.

Where’s he getting the Europe shouts from? Literally nobody expects Europe

Chatting wham again

He does have a point and everyone on here knows it. If anyone has an issue with what he’s saying, that’s probably because they know they’re one of the ones he’s talking about. It isn’t just the team as a whole, it’s individual players. Some on here go from “love the lad, first name on the team sheet” after a half decent performance and a team win, to “absolute sh!te get him sold” the following week after a bad team defeat. He’s right.
