2024/25 Sean Dyche

Just frustration from me i dont think has taken anything from the past to change his style. Did a good job but that run without a win was lucky still be in a job, then the game against brighton just was the same again as last season. Will say again did not help himself with the team thought got it wrong and the subs to slow again. Just dont ever think he will fully win over the fans, this season is massive for him and the club him getting a new deal even another two seasons i have questionw if he is the right person

No I`m basing that off us conceding 93 goals in his 63 games!

What is more starting, Dyche has lost 12 of his 29 home games scoring 5 and conceding 29.... Dyche has never won a game at Goodison when the opposition has scored in 29 attempts.

Home form is not keeping us up and we have started the exact same way this season, relying on away form is a very risky strategy.

Hopefully the new owners bring in their own man... of all the well run teams in the PL how many are appointing Dyche as manager or coming to take him from us? That should tell you everything...

Our home form has been shocking for years, under Carlo, Benitez and Lampard, but it has improved under Dyche. I agree, our in ability to win from losing positions is worrying, but Everton again have been like that for many years now. I seem to recall under Carlo we came from 2-0 down to beat Watford away and that was the first time we'd came from behind to win for like 3 years. Ultimately we'll win enough home games.

On your point though, it is one of the reasons why Dyche won't be here forever. He's admitted that himself.

Honestly think a lot of people are more addicted to the drama then the football, adrenaline rush of "events" - like sackings or signings, then judging the merits of a low block VS Brentford.

Eastenders for sports fans.
I've supported everton for over 30 years, but tbh I do enjoy the drama 😆

None of the Dychette's will ever answer that mate.

I will. The well ran teams don't need a manager like Dyche because they have stable environments and finances to allow for progressive coaches to thrive.

Everton haven't got that, and hence need a manager like Dyche, who has his limitations but ultimately gets a lot more out of the players we have than most managers would given our situation.

Lindstomnand and n’diaye are not proven to be better footballers. Nothing in their career points to them being better than what we have.

But the unknown quantity will always be preferable to the fans over the absolute certain mediocrity provided by some of Dyche “staple” players who can seem to do no wrong
