2024/25 Sean Dyche

Dont ever forget what happened last season: the PL tried to kill this club and had a =n axe hanging over us for the whole season.

Dyche got us through that.

Let's hand him at least a bit of loyalty in return.

The performance today was exceptional. We have the players to get out of the with ease.

Stop 'kin panicking and settle down.
It's easy to say that but that was especially grim today, at 2-1 even my most negative 'Everton that' said this is going to end in a draw. People have a right to fume and panic losing a game we were 2 nil up in at the 86th minute.

Sod off lad, he made his fist dub on 83, when players had been running in fumes for 20 minutes.

He also made the wrong sub

Again, it’s easy to say this when the game is finished.

Dyche can do no right for some fans at the moment (understandable) and if he’d made 5 changes at the hour mark as Iraola did, and this happened, fans would’ve been screaming “ffs why did you change it?!”

He made a change before the 1st Bournemouth goal (which came out of nowhere, by the way) to give us more legs. There was no sustained Bournemouth pressure before it, it was all us. Our defence switched off for a moment and they scored.

At 2-1 he immediately makes another change and they score again.

I don’t care what 11 players were on the pitch. To capitulate like this is not good enough and it’s on the players.

Along with Ndiaye Dom was having a great game, their centre backs hated him today
enter Dyche and his smelling salts
Agree 100%. We took away two of our main threats and allowed them to get at our defence instead. Dyche seems to confuse being defensive with being non-attacking. Taking off creative players also took the pressure off Bournemouth and allowed them onto us. It's blatantly obvious from the first two league matches that we can't defend with the personnel on show in those games.

...and who comes in?
There's a whole world of coaches out there. We have a DoF that's in charge of the playing side of the club, let's have him choose a manager instead of Moshiri, Usmanov, Kenwright, Textor, whichever no mark owns us next. A succession of egotistical no nothing chairmen and owners have picked our coaches and look where we are. If we're going to have a DoF, let them do their job.

IMO he's still here at

...yes. But who would you choose?

Also Ireola's strength with Bournemouth and with and his previous club is front line pressure
They love being the other end of the pitch
They came alive when we left them off the hook with those ridiculous subs
Dyche is so bad

It's funny tbh, we probably played our best football in a few seasons in that second half and this is the result, Dyche is going to be like a little slug now and go back into his hoofball tactics.

I doubt it. He knows what players like Ndiaye can do and it wasn't down to him that we got beat it was the defenders he's trusted in the past.

But we didn’t need more legs in that position. His change made the team less attacking and allowed Bournemouth to play out. We had them pinned back all second half with Ndiaye causing them problems.
