2024/25 Sean Dyche

No defence.

I'm merely pointing out that this was the bench;

The game before, you and many others - just slated Dyche for not putting fresh legs on.

He did so this time.

I'm looking at the bench and thinking, what's the point in making any changes.

He doesn't make changes - slated.

He makes changes - slated.
Great stuff.

So in what world does any manager think it is a good idea to put Roman Dixon at left back and Dwight McNeil right back. Because within 30 seconds of that decision, Southampton got in behind Dixon and almost scored

Dixon remained right back mate - he was there winning corners from right back right at the last minute.

Besides, Southampton strolled past Dixon all game. People who think he's the answer are going to be in for a shock if he starts vs Leicester or Palace. Nice to see some pace though.

You literally just argued against yourself there.

They haven't replaced Olise, which you say is a top 6 player. Then just mentioned a few jabroni's who isn't on the level of Olise

Maybe, he was injured a lot last season. But I hope you agree that you cannot if you are the size of their club. They brought in 2-3 players to compensate or you get another young player that should grow into that role.

West Ham did the same with Rice, Alvarez and Ward Prowse, no chance to get a 1/1 replacement in quality.

Wouldn't go that far, Fraser is that type of winger to put constent pressure on the full back, but i dont think many or any "chances" come from that side?

He wasnt amazing at the back, but who is for us? But he at least offers willingness to cross the half way line and overlapping.

Also, took abour danger from one side, as soon as that boob young come on, he nearly conceded a pen and then that dibling cut past him and blazed it over the bar.

people arent making out dixon to be the next cafu btw, they are looking at our options and saying this kid is currently a better option than young and coleman.

I would. He never stopped an attack or a cross.

Read in the Athletic this morning he lost the most duels on the pitch and wasn't at all surprised.

We're desperate for some pace. We're desperate for any threat at all down either wing, and yes, all day him over Young.

Ideally I'd like to see him given a go when Branthwaite is back and in games that aren't vs Villa, Spurs and Brighton, really.

We've setup players to fail for too long.

What percentage of fans want him gone do we think.
Anything over 80 per cent I'd say absolutely no way back for him
Even last night was it over 5000 empty seats. That's over a million quid. And for a club struggling with finances that's a lot of coin
Even assuming that all 5k were bought at full price of £25, you’re only looking at £125k.

Agree with the point though. The bloke is toxic at this point.

His games management is shocking.. He seems to be consistently make wrong choices and we end up losing. He’s ultimately to blame for that.

I dont see who the 2-3 players they brought in to replace him are? Unless they are planning on putting a centre back in his position
