2024/25 Sean Dyche

Are you new on here, even when he wins he gets slated, some people want him out no matter what he does, good or bad.
As soon as I seen the starting line up first couple of games of the season I joined that group too.
He'll be gone in the summer 100% between now and then though, I don't really mind if he stays as long as he gets us results even if his football is the absolute worst

Short of a complete turn around in form and performance and a top ½ finish I agree.
I do however hope he’s not binned before the end of the season, I’m just fearful of the disruption ANOTHER new manager might cause.
Obviously if we’re in peril then he’s got to go but despite my distain for what he’s producing on the pitch he should have enough to be a safe pair of hands to get us into BMD.

The issue is though mate, he's not going to be sacked until TFG are probably a bit further along.

If TFG wants to invest this January it's pointless keeping Dyche, he's already on record saying if he doesn't want the player then doesn't matter if we buy them he don't play them.

That alone should be enough to get him sacked

I agree. Im just not sure he will be sacked after tomorrow. Id imagine it happens quite quickly but not like the next week.

We'll win tomorrow mate, and think we will actually go on a decent run as Jarrod will return and unless Dyche wants to get sacked he's stumbled by accident in his best attacking selection.

Yea I agree. It's not just Brainthwaite either, it's the impact he has on Tarkowski and Mykolenko, who look totally different players when he's not in the team.

Michael Keane basically kills their confidence.

You evaluate if you sack a manager on the more recent form rather than overall

So here's me being selective.

1 point out the last 6 games
You might have missed my point. The word 'evaluate' is your word. I’m saying that it’s easy to be selective. I didn’t start the selective process. I didn't say:

I always backed you when it came to Martinez mate, but what you find acceptable is too much of a low bar for me, I mean 5 wins from the last 31 games in all comps is atrocious.

I hope to hell he keeps us up but at the end of the season he is volleyed out the door.

I just commented on it being factually incorrect. That's all I did. Nothing more, nothing less. Obviously, you can read, so I'm sure you will agree that it was nothing more than a factual comment. @LouReedwalkonthewildside is a cool poster and chose not to offer a response. You responded with this:

You're correct it's actually 5 wins from the last 26 league games.

5 wins, 8 draws, 13 losses over the last 26 games in fact. 23 points out of 26 games.

Sackable form by any metric.

That was a factual response so fair enough. Then I made the point about being selective (as Lou was being).

Or 49 from 43 games. We know that it is not great but it’s easy to be selective.

I wasn't being selective. I was demonstrating that it's easy to be selective.

Then you replied with the first part of my post, i.e. your quoted post. If you can show me where I have chosen to 'evaluate' anyone then I'll explain my evaluation. Actually, I won't because I didn't evaluate anything.

Of course, you also just about conceded in the quoted post at the start of this post that you, not me, might have a tendency to 'be selective'.

You have a bee in your bonnet about Dyche, it would seem. Have I? Well, you don't know because I have not offered an opinion.

However, you want (again, it would seem) to pick a fight with someone/anyone about it. There are plenty of FKWs out there. Go and find one.

Say selective again

There is no way Dychey and Keggers have these conversations
