Beating Palace at home was the 3rd biggest achievement by an everton manager since Kendall and Catterick for me
I agree, can see him getting removed once TFG are in, unless he wins every game till thenJust my opinion but no way will he be here in January to spend TFGs money on "Dyche" players. I hope in the mean time he can chalk up a few more wins however. I honestly believe he'd have been gone tonight if we lost today
No. It's all the same reasons as before we scraped a win at home against winless Crystal Palace.People have found a reason to fume after a comeback win
You cant his record says it all that was the first win from coming from behind today. Can say everything points deduction the squad ect. But comes down to winning games and his record is poor. His time is up for me be it end of the season or during the season, not a chance he sells himself to a new dof with this style of play. Has a chance and is getting a full fit squad so he must get more out of themI don’t know if I’ve had enough internet for a while but it’s irking me more than I can explain reading people sympathise and defend Sean Dyche.
First season - we were definitely going down under Lampard, he came in and steadied the ship and kept us up.
Second season - Would have finished 12th without the points deduction. Definite progress.
This season - It's been poor but we're only a few games in and there's still 4 teams below us.
Not sure where all the dislike for him is coming from really.
You could also say that Palace couldn't hold on to a lead against a winless Everton, who started the day below them in the table. Swings & roundabouts.No. It's all the same reasons as before we scraped a win at home against winless Crystal Palace.
How would you compare him to bentiez ?It’s been an awful start…and we’re 15th. When we lost to Bournemouth 87 minutes of a good performance is forgotten about because of the result, yet when we win the performance is apparently really important.
He’s doing what we brought him in to, keep us up initially, get us to the new stadium and new owners whilst we bring the wage bill and net spend down. If Branthwaite and Tarkowski stay fit he’s keeping us up in my book and then the new owner will have the luxury of selecting his new manager at the end of Dyche’s contract when Everton are a mid table club, free of PS&R penalties, and in a new stadium. We’d have all taken that in January 2023 after Lampard was fired and Gordon sold. People seem irrationally angry because he’s done the job we wanted him fo do. I’d hate to see this place if he’d taken us down and put the club in financial ruin.
Agreed. Made up we won, always want us to win and i hope we win loads more but nothing can change the zero wins in 15 last season and 1 win in 6 so far this season no matter how excited the happy clappers get after 1 win. I cannot imagine a universe where the Friedkin group see a fella who has never won anything and has a season aim of avoiding relegation as being the Manager they want to spend their money on building a squad that can propel the club forward back towards being a top side again. He would have to do something he has never done before and they have a record of being professional but absolutely ruthless.Just my opinion but no way will he be here in January to spend TFGs money on "Dyche" players. I hope in the mean time he can chalk up a few more wins however. I honestly believe he'd have been gone tonight if we lost today
