I'm hardly Dyche's biggest fan but I've just watched the PC I don't think he did too bad. He went a bit on one about saying one day he say what's really gone on. That doesn't matter. He's had a lot to deal with so he gets a pat on the back for that and he's kept us up twice another pat on the back. At the end of the day Sean mate you bemoan that you don't get to talk about football in the PC well let's focus on that, your football is terrible, your pre season is inadequate, your starts to the season are a joke, you treat us the fans indifferently and you treat the club as if we're Burnley. And you can't even attend a PC on time. Just get your
backside in gear and get us winning some games. That's what you're paid for. Maybe you're not the club doesn't have standards so maybe just one win every now and then aye
For now. Time ticking.
Hope so chief. Any form of an ugly 3 points is very very welcome. Dyche can do one.Excuses “IF” we lose?
70% of me thinks we will win now the focus is on him no easy ride now
It's so tiresome. Yeah, it's been a challenge to do his job but that is what he is paid 5 million pounds a year to deal with. Try having a conversation with, say, an A&E nurse earning sod all money about the challenges of their job.
He does it on purpose, as 'something he finds funny', its him thinking he owns the narrative to show how un-important these conferences are.
I'm not a massive supporter of Dyche but I do find comments like these somewhat cheap.I do ask myself that question, indeed given our record of picking managers we might get someone who preforms worse. I am one of those who recognises that Sean Dyche did accumulate 48 points last season, indeed if you look at his Premier League record he has finished in the top half twice, albeit that one of those times it was tenth. He has also contributed to two relegations, he isn’t a guarantee against relegation.
The fear of getting someone worse should never be the reason to keep him as manager, if that is the case then we would never improve. Sean Dyche’s record is one of a manager who struggles to accumulate points and eventually this catches up with him and his team goes down, I fear that if he is allowed to stay this may well be that year for us.
Watch this space! One thing yesterday did for me was cement the idea that we have a half decent squad with a few exciting talents.
If only the ownership situation was clearer.
With a sane head at the helm, I’d be confident about a new manager coming in and pushing us on.
Obviously we haven't done well but given that we won 5 out of our last 8 league games last season this isn't really true, is it?I always backed you when it came to Martinez mate, but what you find acceptable is too much of a low bar for me, I mean 5 wins from the last 31 games in all comps is atrocious.
I hope to hell he keeps us up but at the end of the season he is volleyed out the door.
