Nope, i'm saying you'd be cryarsing no matter what he did and pretending otherwise is disingenuous. We both know that if he'd done what you're suggesting the narrative would be that he'd settled for a point and was being ultra negative by bringing on another defender, but because he didn't do that we're instead going to pretend that doing that would actually have been an attacking move that any decent manager would have made. It's just daft. It's fine to say the football is crap and our form isn't good enough so I want him gone, but all this microanalysing of everything and bringing every single thing back to being the manager's fault is just boring and childish.
