Out main striker has 1 in 20 mate, we would take anyone right now up front and it's an improvement.

Leicester had Vardy Mahrez and Gray on the pitch and Slimani Iheanacho and Okazaki on the bench. They’re a mid table side who have players on the bench as 4th choice who would walk in and be first choice with ease for us. The recruitment from Walsh and Koeman was criminal.

I'm not 100% sure the Everton manager market is that big mate.

Still worth chatting through the likely candidates. And it's pretty much summing up my fear that they all have more negatives than positives.
6 million a year tells me everyone apart from the men in the TopTop jobs will be interested.
As to who ? I havent a scooby , as you say they all carry a lot of negative's.

How the hell did we get to this

I think I would prefer Big Sam for another reason.

He has worked with higher calibre players. When Moyes went to Utd they rejected him for this reason. If Dyche suffers the same treatment we could be in trouble.
they'd just won the League so they were high class
We're 18th
Burnley are 8th

Now just who do you think will be looking down on whom?

Strange post. We're not Burnley for a start, and Wood has 4 goals in 9 games.

We spent the same on Klaassen.

Spot on. Wood and Cork have been great signings relative to Burnley. In similar positions how exactly have Sandro and Klaassen faired for us? Even despite our apparent superiority that renders us too good for Dyche (anybody seen the table?) I know which two signings I'd rather have made.

Burnley Express reckon there is 'no approach imminent' for Dyche. Suggests whilst he's an option he isn't first choice.

Any young journalists first stop toward Pulitzer prize-winning glory

It's a kind of metaphor for Dychey/ Everton

How would they know like?

As it goes I didn't expect anyone to be formally approached this week either, I thought they'd wait until after the Watford game and make their move during the International break if Unsworth failed his audition. However, it's more than possible that Moshiri has seen enough already and wants to move this week.

We'll see.

There’s nothing snobby about not wanting Sean Dyche just because of our current league position

Chelsea’s crap season the other year and you don’t see them scraping the barrel

I’m aware we aren’t Chelsea but we shouldn’t be going for lower level managers just because of our poor league position, that’s almost cementing it

We are underachieving and this season is a write off, but it’s ridiculous to suggest we should get a manager with a poor record who finishes just above the drop and be grateful for it

Some fans must enjoy being plucky little Everton

Newcastle were in the Championship with Benitez ffs

They need to be talking to candidates right now if I'm honest. Ideally we need to be in a position to announce the new boss more or less straight after the Watford game if the board are going to go that route.

I was on about the players he has signed who some people deem not worthy of playing for us.. (jack cork and chris wood etc) when we are subjected to watching this anti-football that some of our 'stars' are serving us.

give me a gritty , hardworking side anyday over the tripe we watch now.

Easier said than done tbf mate. Dyche strikes me as the kind of fella who plays with a straight bat, and I doubt he'd speak to us without formal permission, which would obviously mean us approaching Burnley. There's nothing to stop us talking to those out of work currently like Tuchel and Allardyce though.

Rhino could yet stick a spoke in the wheels by winning the next 2 games like....
