Seems like a decent guy and undoubtedly doing a good job for Burnley.
But if we have serious aspirations to break into the top 4 (or even 6), is he a man who could do it?
Would any other so-called 'big' club really consider him?

Massive risk, especially when on the field we've made zero progress over the period of the last two appointments.

Is anyone going to hand Dyche £150 million to spend? The answer is no and would show the ambition in the club has been extinguished.

Also would he want to work with a DOF? He will only get one chance at decent club, surely you would want to live and die by your own sword not with players that have been given to you.

As i said in the other thread, we're not in a position like pre-Moyes, otherwise he would be perfect.

Having worked for Burnley, he's a meff. Absolutely slated Derby for spending big on a player, weeks later they spent £9m on Andre Gray.

Personality aside, he's a good manager and would stabilise us at worse. Wether he could take us further, who knows. As long as he didn't bring Chris Wood or any of Burnley with him that would be fine.

Not a chance this will happen IMO.

I would have hoped we have learned our lesson by taking managers from lesser clubs who had been relegated.

If no lessons have been learned, then very worrying.

He has kept Burnley in the top flight and they are 8th at the moment. It's not a Martinez like situation with Wigan at all.

It's exactly like that, except he managed to get them promoted again. Martinez won a cup, didn't stop that fraud from showing his true ability.

Right, so we are going after Burnleys manager and not somebody top drawer.

Smashing, nothing has changed.

Is he in the top 10 of world managers? Top 20? Top 50? No so why would you want him here, Kenwright ambitions being shown by some people on here bet you voted for destination Kirkby as well
