You do realise that Man United never actually made an offer for him do you?I am not saying that is what I would value him at.
I am saying I would be surprised if they sold him for less than £25m, when they quoted £50m for him barely 2 years ago.
And if they are willing to accept even £10m for a 24 year old after a serious knee injury not too long ago, that would be a big worry.
No
Though, I didn't know he had only 5 months left on his contract, if he has refused to sign a new deal that would make sense.
I have seen him play and I can't say I would be excited about his signing.I’m not interested in making money on him. I’m interested if he’ll improve our midfield here and now in a relegation battle. I have my doubts.
It’s irrespective if we pay a pittance for him. Like I’ve expressed numerous times I just don’t see how he improves our midfield in a relegation battle. It’s not me being anti Benetiz. Im fine with signing of the full backs with their best years ahead of them.Cheers. So we pay them a pittance for him if we want him or they let him go for nothing at the end of the season. With Digne having a number of suiters we must have the upper hand in negotiations. This isn't me saying i want the lad here as I don't know enough about him but it looks like Benitez wants him so he'll probably be a blue by the end of January and if so I'll support him until/if he turns out to be a Rondon (fingers crossed he's not that bad i mean we couldn't buy another one thats that bad could we????)

That still reads to me like they're saying they will offer him a new contract if he shows he's worth one not that they've offered one that he's rejected.
Funnily enough I was impressed by Gray whilst at Leicester. My concerns were more to do with his attitude than his ability. Zero complaints so far.I have seen him play and I can't say I would be excited about his signing.
But, I said exactly the same about Demarai Gray.
Making a profit or loss isn't everything but we are in the mess we are in because of losing money on so many players.
Profit and loss on players is of huge importance to Everton FC at the moment.
If signed my hope would be that he could be as big a success as Gray and increase his value exponentially.
Some talented players in that squad. I get that my opinion doesn’t sit well with most on here but all I’m saying is I’m not gonna write a player off without giving him a fair chance. Obviously there’s something seriously wrong at Newcastle for that squad to be underperforming as they are.Bonkers they're where they are in the league really.
No way that team should be relegated.

I’d say defensively he is better than Davies which is why Benitez wants him, was much better under Benitez and has fallen off since. I’d imagine we are after him due to a small fee being enough to take him and he plugs a gap for now.No better than Tommy D. He's ok but no more than that, won't improve us at all.
He's set to become a free agent at the end of the season. I wouldn't even be bidding for him now to be honest.
