By all objective standards, a shocker of a season. I never want to see defending like that again, or so many misplaced passes.

And yet ... I've come out of it PROUDER than before to be an Evertonian.

How did that happen ? The sight of Richarlison and Gordon playing with their hearts on their sleeve, leaving everything on the pitch. Lampard coming in and showing that he gets what the club is all about. Seeing how, step by step, a club and a fanbase that was on its knees, that was cynical, and had almost given up hope, came together in the most wonderful way. How the boos turned to carnival atmospheres with us all being swept away by the Spirit of the Blues. The spirit of the blues on the pitch giving us hope once again that under Lampard there will be better times to come. At least three amazing Goodison memories to last a lifetime (Newcastle, Chelsea and Palace).
