Serious Question

Getting told it’s “kopite behaviour “ and “just get behind the team” for calling out the nonsense over the years , it’s not worth it, there is only so much a person can do and say in a position of supporter.

Something is very wrong when the average person who buys tickets to go to the match and gets fed up of what the club they care about has turned into gets held more to account than the people who are actually at the club and some earning in a month what the average fan might not earn in decades .

It also raises questions over what people at the club do think of the fans. If there is a distain for fans now , and I suspect there is from some individuals, then you can only imagine what the thinking is if large scale apathy occurred and those fans decided to spend their time and money on other things besides Everton.

Whilst I didn’t think what’s happening now and over the years would play out how it has, something had to give eventually.

I look at how other supporters are in times of difficulty and I think our fans get a unfair negative reputation and if anyone would spend some time studying what’s gone on, not just in the last three to four years, they could at least understand that taking a step forward and two or three back constantly and being told it’s wrong to take issue with it, is going to test the temperament of any group of supporters.

I once heard a Tottenham fan call us impatient when this is a club who reached a Championship league final and was playing great football with some excellent players and within a handful of months were screaming and shouting for the removal of a successor to the manager who got them to those heights.

buddies u choose if u follow the sports team. if it makes u feel super sad and say crazy things then be adult and put energies and energies and worth into better things like a big boy.

Think people are chatting a bit of bull and/or over exaggerating.

Fans weren't booing at 1-0 down, they were all absolutely living and boing that minteh kid because for someone bizarre reason he decided to wind the lower gwladers up kissing his badge etc.

Dcl was booed off because he's a waste of a shirt and completely give up, didn't wanna be there.

And Holgate got some boos, I think that was sheer frustration with the club in general, a player we had been actively trying to sell for years come on whilst 3-0 down at home in our last ever home game.

Today was dreadful, not just the players, but the manager was diabolical, the higher ups where shown to be dreadful in that our already dreadful squad was more or less the exact same as the squad that has been battling with relegation for 3 years.

There is absolutely zero joy to be had out of supporting this club anymore, I've said for the last few years I only go to see my mates and wait for yhe new stadium, but I'm starting to think not even that's worth games like today.

Lock the thread.

One game in and this guy is writing us off as a club and as a fanbase.

The optimism for the season took a hit when we saw the team sheet and the red card proved us all right. There is reason that a huge chunk of L4 has got some extra cash tonight and it’s cos we all saw Ashley Young getting at least a yellow today, the red is effectively a blessing because it forces Dyche to find another option.

He bleats on about how he didn’t start N’Diaye or “Jasper” because they don’t have PL experience while overlooking the fact that a number of Brighton’s key contributors didn’t have PL experience until today.
