Still think we need another forward, one that’s more ruthless and has a better touch than DCL.

I weirdly think that between Richarlison, DCL, Kean, Gordon and Ellis Simms we have a young group of attacking players there with loads of opportunity for development. Richarlison & DCL have shared the goals between them well this season and with a better quality midfield behind them they'd score even more.

I thought Wilder spoke well, he spent nowt and we spent a fortune yet they are higher in the league.
They could of got 6th we havnt been near that for a few seasons

"What you try and do in a season is try and get your players and club to overachieve and we have ridiculously overachieved.

That’s exactly how I feel when I look at our bench too.

4 players stood out for me. Gomes, Keane, Digne and Branthwaite. I also thought Walcott had an okayish game just not in it enough.Apart from the goal I thought Richarlison was poor. Siggy was another in and out player some good things and some meh things. 2nd half was totally different from the 1st in terms of endeavour.

A bad injury to Richarlison and those forwards get us 12th at best.

Who did we bring on tonight? An academy player and a guy bought for 60k 10 years ago.

funny thing is they have a wonder maybe once in a season thing with 14 wins,we have been bad and we have had 13 wins

A bit like they deserved a 2 nil win at Goodison when they had barely any control of the match? Actually, that does us a disservice, as tonight's game was even with not much in it. We probably had the better moments of quality so if one team deserved to win, it was us.

I actually thought Keane and Branthwaite was the ideal partnership for this particular type of game. We needed 2 towering CBs for this game.
