I'm very willing to sack a manager is absolutely unwilling to change things when they are going wrong.

He's basically said it in black and white that he sees no reason to change anything and that we are nearly at the heights of last season.

Nah, not for me, thanks

Dont understand people looking for post match comments for comfort from their team playing badly....they mean nothing at all. Not. A. Thing.

What do you want him to change? He is trying to make us a squad accustomed to possession football as a basis.....you want him to change up from that as soon as things go bad? I dont agree, at least not in his second season, unless we are sitting in relegation.

The tactics everybody is clamouring for we have seen this season even if not always from the start...it hasnt made the impact people expect. I personally dont think this period will change until we get a break and a couple wins in a row, get some confidence back.

Again today, we click a little...look the better team and create a one on one opportunity to take the lead....luck hands us a crap ref decision and then one player defends miserably and we go one down. What do you think that does to the players AND the manager when in a bad period? Its a killer, and you have to admit its a scenario thats happened a lot this season.

Again, the manager is not the only factor in this poor league season.

I wouldnt sack him personally.

I would hope he had the good grace to resign.

Get out of my clab you Spanish twerp.

Cant fault the team selection that much today, it was close to our best team, if not our best, the players just didnt perform, heard the first "Hes lost the dressing room" shout today tho.

Grim.

I support everton and have an opinion if you don't like forums or are not bothered if we win or lose why bother coming on here

Your entitled to your opinion but come on.....spoilt brat tantrums etc. You are just in a total winge mode forgetting that what has happened this season has more or less happened every season bar last. You are on a downer because you are expecting us to be in the top 4 by default although it has only happened once in the last 20+ years of PL football. We are not Everton of the 60's even 70's or 80's. We are the below average net spending team that is in a position that is probably par to what we spend.

A few quid ? Righto.

I'm sure you can see the comparisons between the 2, you're not stupid.

Both had great seasons last season, both clubs have dropped off this year. Both have signed players who haven't lived up to expectation.

I don't neccesarily want the bloke sacked, I think it's natural to question if he's the right man for the job.
I'll question all day long and agree people should criticise any Everton manager over his strategy and tactics and formations and team selections. With this one too. But question whether he's the right man after a period of poor form and on the back of a stellar first season.

No chance, no chance at all. It's the most unreasonable position anyone could take up.

Nah that's fair enough mate, how long would you give him if this type of performance kept up though ?
