Sadly it will take a mid table finish and the likes of mirallas and Barkley to leave to wake the fans up. This guy's gonna drag us down with his stubbornness and he'll end up lowering the fanbase expectations more than kenwright ever could.

Wigan fans cheering the manager who sent them down ffs

Even in the immediate aftermath of another demoralising defeat those wanting a change are easily in the minority.

The people have spoken.

Now go and enjoy the rest of your Christmas and let's see what the New Year holds for us.[/QUOT
Your better than that dave.
If he was changing things round to try and sort the problems i would still have faith but he does the same thing every week.
Fans are worried because he is lost

I'm sure it's already been said, but IF he was to go, who are we replacing him with? I don't think there's any one suitable at the moment.

We're stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place at the moment, as frustrated as we are all I don't think we have much choice other than to persist with him and pray he can turn things around second half of the season.

Yes. From day 1 this season there was serious issues that people put down to form, clearly tactics and nothing else.

We played good last year, but that's in the past now; moves once had us in 4th.

Change your tactics or move on, that simple

That is what amazes me. Last year he was so good at adapting.

We were a possession team but when Arsenal came to town, he put Lukaku on the right to exploit Monreal and had us put in a masterful counterattacking performance.

But every game this season has been the same. Same formation, same tactics. We beat West Ham in a scrappy game but that aside, the only teams we've beaten are the ones so poor the U21s could put them away.

I don't get the point of this argument.

Last season was great. We all enjoyed it.

What's it got to do with this season?

If we were in the bottom 3, last season still would have been good.
Not only that but the fact that it's obvious that we're going backwards is the biggest worry. Last season we played a new way and teams weren't used to how to deal with it. As a result it probably made us look better than what we where. This season they do and each game and each performance is getting worse and worse.

It's a results led industry. So therefore if the results are not going your way, then questions will be asked. For the time being will stick with Martinez, but I am not liking what I see. This mainly being, the way we're playing.
