he's definitely the right man imo.

his team selections and balance are wrong yes, but he can't be totally at fault that we have no real players in our whole squad who have had a great season so far. a couple of very good seasons from a couple, but all the players have been abysmal this season and he has been badly badly let down by those 4 experienced players in that diamond at our back.

hopefully the injuries to howard and jagielka may be a bit of a blessing in disguise and hopefully barry will get dumped for the returning besic.

it's his first season as a young manager manging a season in europe, patience is a virtue.

That's it, the closest we ever get to breaking into the top 4 and we don't take the chance. Very frustrating.
Exactly, we were on the verge of crashing through that glass ceiling after last season. Hasn't happened for us though this season. Most worrying thing is that Martinez seems lost handling the current situation, just like the majority of our players. Not finishing in the top 7 (at the very least) will cause unrest with our top players.

I'm sure it's already been said, but IF he was to go, who are we replacing him with? I don't think there's any one suitable at the moment.

We're stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place at the moment, as frustrated as we are all I don't think we have much choice other than to persist with him and pray he can turn things around second half of the season.

Put Big Dunc on the line for all I care. He should at least be able to motivate the players.

That is what amazes me. Last year he was so good at adapting.

We were a possession team but when Arsenal came to town, he put Lukaku on the right to exploit Monreal and had us put in a masterful counterattacking performance.

But every game this season has been the same. Same formation, same tactics. We beat West Ham in a scrappy game but that aside, the only teams we've beaten are the ones so poor the U21s could put them away.

Apart from Villa at home and 70 mins against arsenal we've been poor. I said it from the palace game that something was fundamentally wrong, people called me deluded and said it was form.

Once teams press our back and sit deep we are in trouble, exactly the same as under moyes; not capable of breaking teams down

I'll say yes out of principle as I never wanted him in the first place.

But seriously he needs to reassess and stop being so blinkered that his style and tactics are not one of the main causes of this right now.

Because it's the very definition of knee jerk Kopite entitlement?

"Ahhhhhh, we're having a bad run, booo hooo - this manager's lost his flavour boooo hooo. I WANT a new one....booo hooooo. I WANT a new manager and I want him NOW!!!!!!!!"

I'm not in the 'out' group mate. It's just a discussion on how the manager is doing really.

I can see why people want him out though. I don't.
