I won't agree with you on everything mate but this time I couldn't agree more. It's not about opinions, it's about pure and utter [Poor language removed] bellwhiffery from certain posters who just love to see the same [Poor language removed] posted by themselves time and time again. I don't mind an opinion but we can't even get through a [Poor language removed] 1st half without someone saying Martinez should make 3 subs and it's like folk are buzzing because he's made a mistake.

Get behind the lads or [Poor language removed] off is all I've got to say on the matter. I've seen shitter teams than this and darker times than this. Yes we can do better and yes it's o.k to have a rant but there's tits on here who I swear are [Poor language removed] creaming there pants at the minute like they think they because it's sound on Fifa it must be sound in real life.

IF he ever gets sacked it will be because he's lost the dressing room. If anyone thinks that was a side who had no faith in the manager they are [Poor language removed] deluded. That was a side at rock bottom of confidence 3-1 down and not performing naturally and we either stick together and get them out of this [Poor language removed] along with the manager or we continue to stuck the knife in like a shower of [Poor language removed] Kopites. Rant over. [Poor language removed] sick of it.

Great post mate.

The sad fact of the matter is that there are Evertonians who'll go into the Hull game praying we get beat so they can see the back of a fine and decent young manager. No question about that. That claim is right on the money.

No doubt they'll start shrieking over that, but they know it in their bones they want Martinez out so much they'd want us beaten.

Has it really been a quick turn though? The performances have been shocking for the past few months. Even when we've won we haven't looked good. We're a shell of the side we saw last year. I'm not ready to say he should go, but it's getting there. The players don't look arsed, and Bobby seems to think all is well and good. A fire needs to be lit somewhere.
Agreed, we can just act like all is well, but for me the current situation isn't acceptable. I'm not advocating a Martinez sacking at all, far from it. Fact is, we can't afford for our season to go down the drain. Moyes layed the foundation to build on, we simply can't afford a single season of midtable obscurity anymore. He (Martinez) rightly got the plaudits for last season, so he rightly gets the critics for our performances this season.

That's the nature of a slump...it's awful.

The thing about a slump though is that if everyone remains positive, calm and does their job, you get out of it.

That's what we should do then: be positive and calm and let the players and manager do their job without piling more pressure on them.

That sounds like a good plan to me.

Or we could all just throw our handbags in the air and start shrieking
Is this the same guy who throws his handbag when kenwright is mentioned.
You post like you are preaching to people and know we are going to win a cup.
I am surprised you are acting like you are above other posters on here its not you

I agree with a lot of what you say Dave but this is a bit more than a slump. We have been bad since pre season with a few exceptions which with our side is poor.

Do I want him sacked, No, but he needs to adapt to different games as we have been worked out with him refusing to budge. He also needs to cut the crap post match too. I am all for protecting the players as he is a classy guy, but to say there were incredible performances is a pee take.

TBF mate, it's not all others, it's just the handful of people who seem to be taking great delight in kicking an Everton manager when he's fallen to his knees a bit.

Now I call that being decent in the face of sickening behaviour.

It's that sort of stuff I can't comprehend.

Something needs to happen though, but what? I say seriously strengthen next month - spend on quality (I've said Cech above, for a start).
