It's that sort of stuff I can't comprehend.

Something needs to happen though, but what? I say seriously strengthen next month - spend on quality (I've said Cech above, for a start).

It could be the most exciting window for a while. Certainly Kenwright must realise that he has to support the manager and get some fresh blood in. It doesn't have to be ridiculous money but some money does need to be spent for sure.

Wing and CB, plus a keeper if we can.

I agree with a lot of what you say Dave but this is a bit more than a slump. We have been bad since pre season with a few exceptions which with our side is poor.

Do I want him sacked, No, but he needs to adapt to different games as we have been worked out with him refusing to budge. He also needs to cut the crap post match too. I am all for protecting the players as he is a classy guy, but to say there were incredible performances is a pee take.
I'm not denying it's been poor this season. If anyone looked at my posts about Martinez this season it's littered with criticism from start to almost finish. But there's a massive difference between criticising a manager under-performing and demanding better to wanting that manager unceremoniously kicked out the door when we're in zero danger at the moment.

I tell you what's happening on here and other forums: it's a hysteria whipped up by a handful of posters who are no friends of this football club.

I cant wait until we turn this around...and we will. These people will go back to whence they came and we wont have to put up with them.

That never ever happened.

Only 2 teams in the prem era have ever stayed up from being bottom at christmas and both were by the skin of their teeth (west brom and Sunderland). We were never that far behind under Moyes.
Around Xmas 2005 we were in the bottom 3.

TBF mate, it's not all others, it's just the handful of people who seem to be taking great delight in kicking an Everton manager when he's fallen to his knees a bit.

Now I call that being decent in the face of sickening behaviour.
I'm not one for sacking managers but every game this season iv been to at Goodison this year witch is every home game we have been dire were do you think he can change this?

You seems to be saying exactly what others told you when you were criticizing moyes back then. no offense just find it amusing.
I never called for Moyes head until after 11 years and he wouldn't sign a contract. And that was because he was taking the absolute piss and denying the club a compensation package.

Apart from those minor details you're spot on mate.

If anyone on this forum hopes for Everton to lose against Hull, I more than gladly banhammer them into oblivion. Still think that almost everyone on here has Everton's best interest at heart though. I really don't like how this discussion is developing. It's a forum ffs, gladly there will always be a difference of opinion between posters.

Agree with this like.

*applauds*

Great post mate.

The sad fact of the matter is that there are Evertonians who'll go into the Hull game praying we get beat so they can see the back of a fine and decent young manager. No question about that. That claim is right on the money.

No doubt they'll start shrieking over that, but they know it in their bones they want Martinez out so much they'd want us beaten.

No Evertonian will ever go into a game hoping to get beat, so wind ye neck in.

We've listened to you berate chairmen, ceo's, coaching staff, players and ex players to fulfill your own self arrogance.

You're more concerned with the RS than Everton and that was proven more than any last season; you preach about RM and his record points total yet spent the majority of the time on this forum spouting drivel in the 'world football' forum.

You can't see the wood for the tree's and can't accept people have different views from you; it's black and white with you, no middle. You ridicule members on this board for either saying something positive for the board or negative against RM. You've called for Moyes head for far less than what's happened this year, you call Brenda a fraud for talking the same drivel as RM.

You're the most self centred, self obsessed poster I have ever come across on any Internet forum.

I have always liked you and back in the old days we agreed on a lot of things everton.
You have just surprised me when everytime martinez gets stick you jump in all guns blazing putting people down its just not what i expected.
I dont mind criticism mate, I think it's not only right but necessary. No manager, no matter how good, should have a free pass.

I dont know, maybe I'm lacking in perception and a bit thick, but I honestly never saw the growth amongst some of their feeling against Martinez becoming this deep this fast.

It's shocking and it's wrong and it needs to stop or we'll end up wishful-thinking this club into danger.

Back the manager.

Back the manager.
If he deserves backing he will get it.
I go into every game willing him to change and for us to win but we are getting worse and he is looking lost and the biggest worry is that he does nothing to change things.
