'sake lads, sad to see Evertonians turning on each other like this.

For what it's worth, losing faith in the manager does not necessarily equate to wanting him sacked. At least not at the moment.

It would be fair to say that most of his critics fall into this camp.

It's really not as black and white as some are making it out to be.

Well said. I think we've all had our faith shaken to some extent, and most of us have criticisms to make. But Martinez has earned himself the chance to turn things around after what he achieved last season. The start of the transfer window is a logical time for chairmen to ditch managers they've lost confidence in, but I very much doubt that Kenwright has lost confidence yet in his golden boy. The question is, with all his motivational qualities, can he still inspire the players to go out and achieve great things ? It ain't going to happen overnight, but he is a motivator, the players seem to like him, so let's hope that he can find some of the reasons why performance levels have crumbled and inspire some confidence.

Don't win away to Hull and we have City next, 6 games without a win and possibly 6 defeats

Unthinkable for a team with players like Coleman, Baines, Kev, Lukaku, McCarthy, Barkley , Eto and Jags

Even more so given the dross we have come up against

I don't think it is a motivational thing. Look at Rodgers at Liverpool they only turned it around once they changed the system and some players.

In our case the formation probably isn't the problem but the tactics and team selection are.

Why are you passionately against Martinez. Did you not think we played well last season or was it the Lukaku signing? It must be something fundamental or a huge mistake.

He's turned us into Wigan make no mistake, just give him another two transfer Windows and watch him ruin Moyes solid foundations

Maybe another lacklustre showing on Thursday against one of the worst sides in the prem will finally turn the Martinez bum boys

So you are a Moyes man. Right ok.

That team was done anyway, if anything Martinez' arrival and their desire to prove something with Moyes gone brought another season out of them but I remember when we where twatted by Wigan that we where watching the end of the Moyes reign and I was a "In Moyes We Trust Man". When Moyes left all I had was a feeling that it was time and was greatful for what he did however the last season lumping it up to Fellaini was woeful.

Fast forward to present day. The main weapon that team had was Baines and Pienaar and Pienaar is done. Likewise we also had a solid back 5 but 3 of them look done too.

You sound like a Utd fan blaming the new manager because the old players have reaches their sell by date but any new manager would just have to clear them out too like LVG has done with Utd. We all loved some of those players and Martinez has tried to preserve as much as he can by holding on to Baines and the new contracts for Osman and Hibbert who are both academy players but time marches on.
