Makes no odds either way now lads. Who ever would replace him doesn't have the time to motivate these guys.

Our only hope is that the players take it upon themselves to actually fire themselves up. Play with freedom.

Tbh I'm contemplating not even going because why should I be bothered if the players are not even bothered. It's a good chunk of money for us to travel stay and support to watch these lot decide not to play because the boss is [Poor language removed].

Where is the leadership and spirit from the actual players.

Is anyone else thinking ahead and worrying for next season and what long term damage has this done to us?

You obviously think you can flick a switch if you think by sacking him it will help us on Sunday.

Tell you what pal, on the assumption that the board don't act and Martinez does lead the team out at Wembley, let's reconvene this discussion on Sunday.

Despite being desperate for us to win on Saturday, I fear with him in charge, ManU will win.
If we outed him now, then an interim manager might, just might be able to instil a little bit of pride and passion in time for the semi.

On a serious note, if the board have seriously been looking at replacements, get the best possible candidate in. Otherwise, Unsworth, Sheeds, Royle etc....

What are you on about?

Our squad is more than good enough to at least put a respectable performance in against Liverpool.

Stop putting spin on it, you sound more and more like Martinez by the second

Thanks that's a phenomenal compliment to get.

I don think you're too far off the mark Ian....something went on at half time. Stones came out late and was white as a ghost....then left the pitch. Funes puts a nasty tackle in as he's all fired up just after half time. Gaz Baz comes off with a niggle. At the end Martinez had bloodshot eyes. I think there's been a parting of the ways at half-time and player power wins.
I just hope some of the players look inwardly at themselves and their performances over the last 12 months.

I genuinely feel for Martinez as he clearly wants to do well. The players have hung him out to dry tonight.
Did like it until you said you feel for Martinez. He's a multi millionaire upsetting 100 of thousands of fans on a weekly basis.

He doesn't have the ability to do well then. He bought the players and he decided the tactics and setup. He only got himself to blame.

Ok. I'm not picking on you but this is totally untrue. Moyes took us as far as he could envisage. I respect moyes for giving us stability but some results and styles of play were abysmal. His tactics against 'bigger' teams was embarrassing. I want Martinez gone but any comparisons with moyes are just daft

Under Moyes I'd personally say the 3-0 Gerrard defeat was the worst result.

Tonight was even worse with a much stronger side out against an arguably weaker team.

Martinez has hardly beaten any of the 'bigger' sides over the last 2 years regardless.
