Think there are a lot of similarities between the two in regards to playing style. Both playmaking midfielders who can play as CAM or on both wings, cutting to the inside.

I agree with you, but that's really not saying much because the Eredivisie got absolutely ransacked this summer. All the best players in the league were sold. Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, Wilfried Bony, Nacer Chadli, Dries Mertens, Leroy Fer, Jozy Altidore, Marco van Ginkel, and that's just what I can name off hand. I'm sure there are more players I'm forgetting.

yeah, that's right, but said the same thing in the summer about him. Think he's been the best player in our domestic league for a few years now.

Why mate, the prices required to take players from holland are not like they once where, 12.5m Euros seems about the going rate for Tadic, and if we cant afford that fee then questions need to be asked

Maybe we could afford that for Tadic now but I think we will save as much as we can to get a striker in the summer.

I think he'd end up costing us around 10-15m and i just don't think we have that money. He's the best player in the dutch league and twente don't let players go cheap.

Erickson went for just 13.5m Euros mate, and he was from a stronger financial club in Ajax mate, plus also younger and more highly touted, seriously doubt he would surpass that fee, and if we can't afford a 10m fee then theirs some questions needing answering

Eriksen had a year left on his contract i believe mate. Could be wrong but i just don't think we could afford Tadic with us needing a striker in the summer and possibly adding 2-3 players in jan.
