I think we may have a short term manageritis here. Where managers move clubs when they are paoched and spend money on players who they had at their old club and sign ones that the former club couldn't afford. Best example is Brenda over the park who spent £26 million on former midfielder Allen and had him on loan once Borini.

Heard Martinez was always keen on Messi but just couldn't afford him at wigan......

I do find it a little irksome that he's saying we don't really need to add. We had a similar situation last year and it fooked us up. We do need to add, and i think it does need to be more than 'one or two' a lot of the players i.e osman and naismith aren't good enough even when coming on. I know they have to be the right personalities but we do still need to add. We can't be so 'blase' about it just because we're doing well at the moment.
