Good passser, and like to pass forward - Not the best passer. Not the worst, but isn't gonna thread trough a dangerous ball
His vision for forward passing looks good - his (lack of) vision is probably his worst asset

Not meaning to be a twit, but he's just a decent player imo. Not bad, but would struggle against top quality full-backs (see his ages for Ireland) and often goes missing during games. If he really applied himself, and i'm sure Martinez would push him, then he'd be an alright addition to our squad. Not the quality we're looking for imo, but if Bobby wants him then fair enough

We have alot of ****e defenders in this league, he got quick feet, pacy and can run with the ball, he could be a star, and he worth the gamble on a free.
 
According to the papers today, McGeady is down here for a med, terms have been agreed so signing must be imminent. But you know papers not 100% reliable.

Just don't rate him very highly mate, is all. I'm sure that he'd be an effective addition to our squad, so i'm happy if he comes in on a free or for a few mil, but he's not the star player we need to really push us on mate. I think that'll come in the summer (hopefully). Someone with real quality who can slot in alongside Barkley and make sure we're up where we should be. As I said though, McGeady is a good addition if we get him and would give us decent cover on either wing, without having to use Naismith.

He is good, makes the game look easy and simple at times. Got a good eye for a pass, would improve our creative side of the game massively!

Think this could be something we look at in the summer though due to him being worth £10m or so.

Definitely, you need players like that in your team sometimes. This lad knows if someone is in a better position to score and gives it. It's nice having your Mirallas types that take people on and things but it's also handy to have a creative player that's unselfish

That's what i'd have thought. Think our main priorities this window should be a central mid, a striker and then maybe a winger if we can push McGeady through this month for a few mil.
