Unless “This is not transferable without the permission of the club and the Home Office." comes into play.

Said before with a link to the UK BA.

unless he's here in the uk working already (he's not) I don't see it taking more than a week to get a permit for him by Everton.

I know if a player was available now for the right money. Bobby would be signing him.

He said himself a month ago he doesn't think January offers good value for permanent transfers.

Prices are higher. So just calm down mate.

Moyes made all sorts of ****e up about January aswell pal as he knew he would have **** all backing to push for the CL places, like I said if their is leftovers of the felli cash then I understand RM keeping that til the summer to go with the new TV cash to have a good summer to bring in a few signings, but with only 1 fit striker who is 20 and looks knackered, surely £7.5 mil for jelavic Martinez could scout a decent back up striker without having to look at cheap options/loans?

I know we're after players.

I'm not concerned one bit with whats going on.

Martinez has been clear all along. The fact EFC are saying nothing should say enough to you.

If he comes and has the same impact as our other loans this season have then few of us will be complaining and we'll be heralding it as another Martinez masterstoke

They're also often higher in the summer, see McCarthy, James.

There are plenty of issues which affect a players price and not just time of year, seeMcCarthy, James and Fellaini, Marouane.

Yeah but often players become available in the summer not available in Jan.

If he blows his budget on number 3's and 4's

Imagine the fume if a big one is missed in the summer.

that's my issue though, its okay us bringing in sexy loan deals but at some point we are gonna be without these 3-4 loan signings without any players to sell to fund more loan signings never mind permanent deals.

I wouldn't mind a loan alongside a permanent deal but it worries me where the leftover cash from sales have gone too.

I think the gamble is, we get these top players in on loan, and if we qualify for the CL, then we'll have the money to either make them permanent or to outright buy better players of a similar ilk.

It's a different way of thinking than Moyes had. Moyes was happy to tread water and not gamble. Martinez is genuinely ambitious and is trying to get us into the top 4.
