I've just heard he's very highly rated, we need a replacement for Distin in the near future, so the stories of Martins-Indi made sense.

I've got no idea if he can play in the LCB position though.

I'm praying for a straight swap for heitinga, but I'm not sure he's ever going to leave.

same.

it is an odd one. i know distin isn't getting any younger and alcaraz is a sick note - but we don't really need to be addressing that position right now.

could just be arranging something for a summer bid for all we know.

Distin's contract is up this coming summer!

We love getting work permits for players, even if we dont sign them, we collect the things.
Lucho Gonzalez, Ever Banega, Vagner Love, Benfica's Fernandes, Porto's Fernandes and of course Juan Roman Riquleme remain locked in our Phantom Bid storage room, along with strict instructions to offer 2/3rds the highest bid and in at least 5 instalments, a variety of press templates from 'We'll go with what we've got', 'We've got players who can play in several positions', 'Complications with our work permit...', 'I've got money to spend', 'I have final say on transfers' plus a cardboard cutout of Suntan Bob with a mobile to his ear looking serious to place at the nearest available window.

I think you should chill.

It'll be okay mate.

i think dystin was played more of a left back last night, jagielka kind of right back with barry as a lone centre half. it was a strange set up. baines always seemed to play a left wing role and coleman was running the right up and down all night.it was not an everton performance we have got accustomed to seeing. with injuries etc a 1-1 draw was adequate. and the performance was adequate.

They reverted to a sort of 3-5-1-1 with mirallas behind Lukaku; it came from the constant pressue from the 2 centre forwards; they were finding 2 much space in-behind. The problem was it back fired because Mel identified a huge gap in between the left centre back and the left wing back, and exploited it

You forgot someone....

MOUTINHO !!!

After seeing distin be totally inept with the ball at his feet again, Martinez must have clocked on to getting a ball playing defend in

Know for certain he wanted Alderweireld in, but couldn't get the money arranged in time.

I think we'll be letting Distin go at the end of the season.
