I just hope we can get 2 more solid players aside from Lacina that will push us to champions league that is the ideal world anyway...

Ive had a few bevvies tonight so excuse me for this theory but...what if Monaco are letting us have Traore on loan in hope of it meaning we keep the RS out of the Champions League, which in turn will cause the inevitable backtrack from Bucktooth on his loyalty to the cause? Monaco are one of the few clubs in the world who could afford him and his best mate is in France at PSG.

Wiki says he did his knee ligaments at valencia and then suffered a relapse.

They bought him anyway - which is a good sign. Quite shocked he only played 10 times for madrid?!

He seemed like a future spanish national team centre midfielder a couple of years back.

Thing is mate at a team like Madrid, you maybe get one chance to impress them, half a dozen - a dozen games max and if you dont take your chance and impress them hugely you enter the loan followed by a permanent transfer out system, a really hard place to come through as a young lad - probably the most difficult club in the world to come through the academy at tbh, when they sold him and another lad to Valencia they did insert a buy back clause into both their contracts like though as is typical of them when they let a player leave who they think may still develop into becoming world class

Time will tell but with him coming back from his bad knee injuries to feature as a starter for Valencia the signs are good that he wil live up to at least some of his very early promise - wouldn't discount him being in the Spain squad in a few years time when he will still only be 24 or so

Dont get why they would, just paid 15m and he hasnt played a game for them right?
No, they paid 8.6 million for him it was Anzhi who paid 15 million for him.

That in itself is a bit of a mystery, why would Anzhi pay 15 million for him, then sell him 18 months later for 8.6, taking a 6.4 million loss??

Looking at the stats, he did pretty well for them so that's a little strange.

Massive firesale at anzhi. Billionaire owner has buggered off leaving the club in strife so to balance the books they're selling off everyone. Like Eto going for free to get him off the wage bill, and willian going too.

A lot of the Russian clubs are struggling financially mate, for a variety of reasons, chief amongst them i believe being a few of their owners lost a shed ton of money recently over some financial dealings going pear shape etc (so i believe anyways), means a few owners have either buggered off from the clubs entirely or have just pulled the financial money-pit from the teams meaning their having to cash in and cut costs wherever they can do
