his careers taken a bit of a nosedive since that big injury, at one point he was nailed on for United, Ferguson even sent him a letter of support saying he was still interested in him... not really sure whats happened to him since the injury, certainly not reached the heights some initially expected him to reach.

interesting that meulensteen's gone in for him, I'm sure he'll have spoken to ferguson about him numerous times over the years.
