Nothing mate.

Even in the gossip columns we don't get a mention.

We have a press conference at 9am. I imagine Martinez will be grilled about transfers then. But I can see him saying that our business is over. Sadly.

Problem with the tail end of the window is even if we're looking for additions roberto is gonna say we're all done. It's a game of poker by the last 24-48 hours due to not wanting to show your hand and wanting to get the players you want on the deal you want. You really can't let teams now your desperate for there player.

Pain in the butt for fans because you have no idea whether the manager is speaking the truth or not. Especially at Everton where you never know if there's any cash or not!!

All you can do is look at the squad for holes and have the belief the club sees it the same way and are hopefully trying to do something about it.

I'm hopefull....

If we are going to do business we are going to be doing it now behind the scenes. So any player we want will already be under way.

Despite what people may think, you cant ring a club up at half ten on deadline day and buy a player. Any movers in the last minutes have been ongoing pending people involved playing silly beggers and/or waiting for dramatic effect.

Best example of this was Arteta, no way Wenger would have taken him for so much without a proper medical. However there was no time to do one......because it was done in advance and we were selling him prior to deadline day.

He's just said he doesn't want to do anymore business.

So that's that.

My interpretation was that if Heitinga does go, then he might look.

But other than that, no chance.

we might get offered a player from a team who are desperate to sell...other than that i dont think anything will happen if we dont hear any whispers today

i reckon you know something and your putting us of the scent, its the clique, its the clique! what clique?

TELL US!

The chance has already slipped mate. It slipped at home to Sunderland. That was when the pendulum changed and handed the initiative back to liverpool and tottenham.

Slipped with our recent form.

Too many draws.

Squad too small.

Too many injuries.

And with the RS keeping up their excellent form.

Fully expect them to canter off into the sunset now and secure fourth with a number of games to go, that is unless United can perform a miracle recovery and push them all the way.

Now you are just being silly.

A freak result was all that it was.

We win on Saturday, we are a point behind the RS and they have a tricky away fixture the next day.

All is to play for, but we need bodies!
