I think some of the best players you can sign are found in the ****e teams at the bootom of the league. Just reading about some 20 year old who has left palace and if you think about it, how many players who play for crap teams early in their career suddenly becime good after they move on?

Trying to create conversation here but there is a gold mine there if you know what to look for.

Wouldn't say "bottom of the league" but certainly there's a chance with top prospects who have yet to shine. For example, Arteta disappointed at Sociedad after being considered a top prospect, Pienaar was floundering at Dortmund, struggled by his own admission, snapped him up.

Loads of opps as you say, and the fact it's January doesn't change that. Holtby could be an example in this window, and Canales is another. Or they may not be, you have to trust Martinez.
