I remember seeing jeans for sale over there in 2012, that were roughly £100, that in the UK sold for £30.. Some things really were over priced. I however earned over there 2.5 times the equivalent salary that Id have got in the UK.. So i guess its swings and roundabouts some times!It's not just Whisky, it's everything.
Back when everything had to be sent from the UK, there might've been a case for a cost increase. But those day are long gone...but not the retailers mark up.
