I've been to quite a few distilleries up in Scotland and they are all great. The main thing that I remember from the visit is that Cardhu was pioneered by a lady. If ever you make it to Scotland join Friends of the Malt and you'll get free entry into a dozen or so places. Heres the link https://secure.malts.com/index.php/users/register . Cardhu is on the Spey and that has bloody loads of distilleries. Unfortunately it's not my favourite part of Scotland, that award goes to the West Coast and the Isles.It's kinda my fav whisky can you tell any interesting stories or facts about that place
