Single malts

Bowmore 10yo for me tonight. Not as smooth as Lagavulin 16 or Ardbeg 10 or as medicinal as Laphroaig 10, but still a nice, smoky Islay malt.

I certainly have nothing bad to say about any single malt but my personal favourite is Glenlivet.. ....

A bit late to this thread. Highland Park is my go to / all time favourite malt. I always have the 12 year old on the go , and at the moment also have 18 year old and for special occasions a bottle of the 1988 . Most recent addition was a bottle of Macallan Gold and my whisky cabinet is mainly stocked with Speyside malts, perhaps unsurprising as The Spey is about 5 miles away from me.
Without going back through 59 pages of posts, I will make a claim of being the only GOT poster who can see a distillery from his house :-) !

I used to love Glenfarclas.

It's been a while since I've had it now.

Ace. Which distillery?

I'd never got round to trying one before so when I saw a miniature of Springbank I snapped it up. Needless to say I'll be buying a full bottle. Very nice nose and a great taste, thoroughly recommended.

I love Springbank. One of my favourites.
Not had that one much, although I think it's a favourite of my mothers.

Enjoying a few glasses of the Oban Distiller's Edition this past week as we experience an Antarctic cold snap here in Melbourne.
Counting the hours until a glass tonight. Worth every bit of the $135...

This remains one of the best I've ever had a bottle of.

Couple more miniatures tonight, I've got a Miltonduff and a Mortlach. Both sherried Speysiders and whilst nice, both unremarkable. Liverpool seems to be lacking a decent stockist of whisky unless you guys know otherwise.
