No, i just think that common courtesy and not treating other people like idiots because they hold a different opinion to you is sort of important, especially for a person in a position of power.

If you disagree with somebody's opinion about a player then you can just agree to disagree, no need to get all butthurt over it like a child and start telling people to not bother posting unless they nod in agreement with you.

For the record, i think Donovan would be ace for us, i just don't feel the need to tell people that they're stupid or 'spouting ****e' for holding a different opinion.

Not to jump in the middle of an argument but sometimes, sometimes if someone is being an idiot deliberately the best thing to do is call them on it. Most people come on here for discussions on all things Everton and opinions vary but there are others who just like being dicks, very much like real life, so call a spade a spade.

Who said we should invest heavily? I know I haven't in this thread and I know that no one else who wants him here wants up to blow our transfer kitty on Landon Donovan.
