I used to love to come to GOT - loved y'alls sense of humor, loved the banter back and forth, the light-hearted fun and the footy talk and everyone (no matter where from) was welcomed and respected.
It seems lately more and more the tone has gone quite negative, with mean-spirited and somewhat bigoted (for lack of a better word) posting. And that's really too bad. It seems the better the team plays and the more fun they are to watch, the nastier it gets in here. Shame, really.

This. A lot of you are making up stories from news reports that have nothing to do with Everton. Landon has always - sometimes to his detriment - been open with the press. He has always played to the beat of his own drum - choosing to help his domestic league rather than going abroad. A decision by the way I sometimes feel was more difficult for him based on the longstanding judgments that are in here.
He has said nothing that's different from anything he has said before.
Those of you that are boiling this down to just 1 news story and whether or not he can come on his own decision should know better.

Yup. First 2 times I don't count due to youth. At Bayern he was screwed by a situation beyond his control with Jurgen's firing. We were the first club where I felt he regretted his MLS contract. That shows how important we are.
I loved the man, absolutely loved him.
But I will ALWAYS put my club's ambitions and situation first.
