cant wait to see him play in the royal blue again. i much prefer seeing him play on saturday mornings ( here in the states) than saturday nights for the galaxy. was a blue long before landon was an everton player, so naturally i love seeing him there at everton
This thing is the biggest myth on this forum.
Is he a better player than Mirallas? No. Is he better cover than our current options of Naismith, Coleman, Gueye or Pienaar switching flanks with Oviedo LM? Probably.
Is he worth spending big money on? No. Is he worth bringing in on loan? Yes.

Not necessarily two different things. The last times he's come he's needed a big loan fee I think, and his wages probably aren't too low.

I thought you gave new players six months before you consigned them to the GASH pile?
Not the Scottish.
I don't really want to see Coleman at RM anymore. So if we don't bring in Donovan then our choices for Pienaar cover are Gueye, Oviedo or Naismith. And unless one of those three really takes off over the next six months, you'd rather Landon.

That's probably fair.
Donovan didn't cost us very much, certainly not compared to his contribution.
*I could be wrong but i'm fairly sure that's what LCAB said about it
