would of liked him here as back up incase pienaar went to the ACON, now he is staying no interest what donavon gets up to.
if he was 25/26 could of kept him for a few years and then sold him, but at 30 no thanks, enough of the team are 30+ and he would be a bench player anyway

That is very debatable. Donovan's assist ratio remains far better than anything Mirallas has ever produced.
I can't be arsed getting into an argument about who is better, but it is by no means given that either one of them would keep the other one sitting idly on the bench. They would both stake a claim for a starting place, and could very easily end up starting the same game.

4-6 weeks would mean he was back before Xmas?? Window not open til Jan. I love Landon, but we don't need him on loan with Kev fit. If we sign him it needs to be perm or no dice IMO

LD would be a HUGE upgrade from the bench. If ANY of our top 7 guys go down we are in trouble. LD gives us tremendous versatility. If Jely/Fellaini goes down, Mirallas goes up and LD goes wide. If Osman goes down, LD is a great replacement. If Pienaar goes down, Mirallas to the left with LD to the right. If any combination goes down, he can play as an attacking middy in the center as well.
