Sir Landon Of Donovan

Tired of reading this thread tbh. Not having a go at various posters, but the whole sorry saga.

The longer that this drags out, the more expectation we'll have of him and, lets face it, he's only getting older. My main concern is that he finally gets here & doesn't live up to the unsustainable hype. I'm sure he'd still be good for us & I'd still love to see him in blue again, but someone with some balls should have taken this matter by the scruff of the neck & dealt with it! Certainly, at Board level, there exists no one with the aggets capable of getting it done.

2-3 year deal, ace squad player who could be in the starting eleven with no bother, cheap wages (compared to his ability), already proven at this level and at this club.

If we don't sign him (providing he wants to come) we're a joke.

Right midfield..... Both fit....... Mirralas or Landon ?

Mirallas, but not necessarily because he's better (haven't seen enough to really know for sure).

Ideally though i'd like to play both, Donovan is probably the more well rounded player, ideally it would be:

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines
Donovan Gibson Fellaini Pienaar
Mirallas
Jelavic

Boss team that is.

That is a rather tempting prospect.

But I don't brink we need Landon at the mo. Sure he's good, but we're ticking along quite nicely without him, and he's gone all "I want to find meself", anyway.

I'm all for the fella, but would he actually add anything at the mo?

Ok, but why not use Vellios there?

Vellios up top would mean Fellaini drops back and Osman goes right wing rather than Naismith. I don't really like osman there much more than I like naismith.

We miss Kev so much because he's literally the only player we have who's any good at right wing and if he continues to be made of glass I do think a non naismith back up has to be our first priority. Whether that's Donovan or someone else.
