Sky must be heartbroken

Now that the dust has settled and we are safe with three games left, it's very satisfying to be able to stick two fingers up at Masters. One other unexpected bonus is that Sky's Relegation Decider Final will now probably get one of the lowest viewing figures of the season. Which neutral would want to watch Everton in flip flops, really not giving a toss whether Luton stay up or go down...Nice.

They'll be praying Burnley stay within distance of Forest, as they play each other last game, that's unless they push through a quick administration the day before we go to Arsenal.

I wonder how Burnley Vs Forest will do in comparison to Arsenal Vs Everton on the last day from a ratings perspective?

Will casuals and neutrals be more interested in seeing who goes down or who wins the league?

Sky's dream was that City Vs QPR game in 2012

City fighting for the title and QPR fighting for survival on the same day

That idiot Barton getting sent off, Aguero scoring the last minute winner, and both teams achieving their goals for the afternoon

That's probably the "perfect" match for a Sky executive

Picked us for 5 games in a row and we’ve won three of them and invalidated the fifth one, as well as embarrassing their number one customer base in front of millions. They’ll be absolutely livid as they were probably imagining riots at Goodison with every kopite eye ball in the world watching us implode at Forest, get battered by Liverpool, nervy day at Brentford and then Luton to apply the coup de grace in a David v Goliath story.

Sorry Sky.

….really good to see a few little digs from Dyche after the game, suggesting to the BBC interviewer that they wanted us to still be involved in the relegation dog fight, and taking a swipe at the PL for making Everton their ‘whipping boys’.

A good insight and the first time I’ve seen his true feelings on the subject.

Lot of column inches and airtime devoted to the “crisis at Everton” this last while! Good to hopefully stem the flow of that for a bit.
