Sleep (how many hours do you need ? )

I average about six and a half hours. Any more is a bonus.
The wonders of my Fitbit breaks down my sleep patterns into waking time, REM then light and deep sleep.

Truly evil people sleep less.
Thatcher 4hrs,
Trump 4-5hrs,
Hitler 6hrs....
I did read something similar to this; that power releases hormones, which stimulate a feeling of being more awake, alert and feeling good. Which leads to searching for activities that lead to that same release. No idea if there is any evidence in that.

About 4 hours. It's all I have ever head.

I do suffer from a bunch of ailments which means sleeping too long hurts like hell but even in more more healthy days I would get 4-5 hours.

I think your body adapts to whatever you need. The bags under my eyes could do with some work though.

Mate.
I honestly couldn't smoke more than I do already.
I've defo got some undiagnosed attention deficiency. Can't sit still and get bored very easily.

Borderline basketcase
Gotta relax, got to find something, whats driving you to be so active? earning money? away from the earache? something a little deeper?
So far as sleep goes, there's a few different types, valium sleep is properly out, but can be mildly addictive, drunk sleep aint real sleep, natural sleep can be difficult to grasp as if your mind is revving over something* it works against you switching off..."gotta get some sleep NOW, up in five hours ffs...." etc. Weed sleep has two sides, a smoke kip wears off quite quick but is more immediate, whereas a good brownie with a glass of milk can lay me out for a solid ten, and no urination issue. That's the other bit of passing out drunk, bladder kicking off.
This fasting lark has something else to it also, holding off till eating at say 6pm, I find that I could be happy asleep by half seven. I actively have to battle to stay awake, but once I've seen it off, it's square one again.

Further to my earlier response I'm thinking that surely your body conditions itself as you grow up.
From the age of eight when we moved to a new council flat when I decided to stay at my school rather than go to one nearer. Had a good half hour walk meaning up out of bed earlier.
When starting my apprenticeship leaving house at 0630 to catch the bus, you get my drift. I've never been one for wanting a lie in, so like others once I'm awake I can't get back off. So glad I've avoided shift work which causes all sorts of issues.
Only recently have I tried the military method of getting off to sleep. They claim that even in battlefield conditions soldiers can obtain meaningful sleep.
