Yes. Much worse. Season-on-season worse.

People are kidding themselves this would be the lowest point.

There is a world of pain waiting for us once we exit this PL.

Relegation would be the start of it.

Relegation will financially ruin the club, but I don't think there is realistically anything that can be done now to stop the slide.

A change of manager is fine, but I doubt Moshiri finds the right boss. And any new manager needs several players, and I doubt the money is there and I strongly doubt the capabilities of the DOF.

I don't recognise this version of Everton under Moshiri and Kenwright. They don't represent me, and I don't identify with them. There is nothing I am proud of and nothing positive that I can see. In fact I feel embarrassed to even say I support Everton these days. I want to enjoy watching my team play and I want a team I can identify with, and if that only happens after a relegation, then we've got to accept it and make the best of what will be a terrible situation. If we go down, we fully deserve it.

There's no excuse for the ambushing of players.

Look, the fans are the least to blame here. The owner and board own nearly all of this mess. However, some fans worshipped Moshiri up until very recently. They cheered when he axed managers and were seduced by his spending.

There's blame here for a lot of people.

Until today I still thought we may get out of it. Even now in normal circumstances if there was unity I'd look at that table and still think that we can be one of those teams that'll edge away from the bottom three.

But not when there's a war within the club. That's a self administered fatal error.

And I look on here tonight and some are happy that there's a civil war - and I dont understand that. They think that it'll be "cathartic" to go down. That's an attitude I'm completely alienated from.

I agree, people should be attacking players or anyone else, and I agree fans are least to blame.

What the board have done though, to deliberately inflame the situation before the match is despicable and has killed any hope of unity. That did not have to be leaked hours before kick off. And someone has briefed the press on the bus welcome being hostile as well, which is nonsense. That has sunk us. Theyve tried to save themselves and sunk us.

Journalists need to be asking serious questions of this alleged headlock being put on Baxendale. It's my understanding she has security and has had for a period of time. Somebody would have noticed this. Why is it only getting mentioned now? And where is the evidence to corroborate this?

I dont think BK cares though mate. He knows what hes done. Hes sold everyone down the river to save himself.

It’s genuinely painful to say it but we’re not staying up. There’s absolutely no chance, unless we sign a couple of gamechangers in the next 2 weeks which seems massively unlikely. We just don’t have enough winnable games left in my opinion, I honestly think we’re going to finish bottom. With that in mind I wouldn’t bother going for someone to keep us up, we might as well go for someone to get us back up, otherwise we’ll just end up changing again in 12 months.

The risk for me mate, being completely honest is that we bomb. We have all the hallmarks of a team who bomb.

People saying we wont get to 40 points, we wont get near 40 points.

So I dont know. I thought last season we were close to being done, and in 99, 95 and 94 and we somehow found something, but it's hard to see currently.

The above sounded dramatic. But I think the club will be in deep peril if they go down. I wish it wasnt the case.

I'd also add, this weeks "blame the fans" from Farhad and now the board has been extremely disappointing. We are not angels, and there are some knobheads, but honestly that was a low shot, and a slur.

Are you ok?
made my peace with this a while back, trying to help a few along the road, it doesnt have to be so destructive, once we embrace the inevitable we can move on.

I'm more bothered about the harm done and the recovery of my fellow once blue than the scum and the slime that have done this to us.

peace, rest, healing, future. None tainted by everton and the malign that own and run it.

I don't condone the actions of any bellend that acted out of turn today but lets have this right. You're talking a couple of morons out of nearly 37'000 plus people. Sorry but I'm not buying any of the collective guilt BS that the club is trying to sell here. Its just another pathetic attempt to delgitemise our perfectly peaceful protest against their disgraceful administration.

It’s an assault plain and simple.

There would be police involvement.

It’s just bizarre.

I could understand some lies about verbal abuse and maybe pushing, but a headlock is so specific.

This is true. Go and walk up to a high profile woman, in a public setting, with stewards and police around, in a very tense environment and forcibly put her in a headlock against her will. (Dont actually this!). You are getting noticed and arrested.

They conveniently forgot that it was the fans kept us up last season.
We then sold our best player and replaced him with Maupay and McNeill and leaving Lampard without a focal point of our attack when DCL injured.
The mismanagement of the club has been staggering over the years but their ineptness this season takes some beating.
